No one has mentioned Mr Griffin today and his exclusion from the Garden Party.
I imagine the Queen didn't fancy letting his face put her off her cucumber sandwiches.
Fair decision if you ask me. I wouldn't really want him in my garden either. (Along with most of the other people who were let in, though.)
Because he's utterly irrelevant and it's a complete none story.
Well except that and what a stupidly pointless bit of gesture politics.
They may have just been worried he was going to snaffle a few too many sandwiches.

I did. In the news thread. You'll see it in the next BCG newsletter.
It'll be attributed to Cheggers though.

Was that last minute panic by the royal advisors or a nasty bit of vindictiveness, letting him get his best suit on and practising his anecdotes? Whichever it was, it was a mistake, it makes them look like they're pandering to the liberal media and can't even run their own little garden parties.
And many of the other guests said they were disappointed with the decision. I already think the royal family are a very expensive joke, this latest hypocritical, opportunistic, cop out misjudgment just adds to the woe of having this shower of shite family represent us, or think they effing own us. Griffin is a natural ally of theirs and they know it, they all think the same privately but the shysters put on this public face of disgust. They disgust me.
How can you possibly know what the "royal family" think privately?
And this would be the Queen of 20 odd different countries and the head of the commenwealth of at least 120 odd more, are they all white? Come on man, think before you post.
Griffin is a natural ally?
She's German and he's Greek. Being less flippant they've been behind a lot of community building and inter-racial stuff.
Nick is an embarassment and that's the one thing the royals can't stand. Oh and Charles is deeply into interfaith work.
Hence his desire to be "Protector of all the faiths,"
as oposed to "granny humpng monkey face."

I was thinking more of Prince Phillip, who has possibly told more dodgy race based jokes than Jim Davidson, we only know of his publically aired ones, do you think he stops there? Possibly Prince Andrew who's been known to enjoy the company of old fashioned entertainers such as Jim Davidson, Vinny Jones et al. Also Prince Harry with his nazi unifom wearing and p word uttering in front of his white mates, even the late Queen Mother who was known for her strong opinions on how the old commonwealth nations were run, eg. the Republic of South Africa, which she publically expressed dismay over when the old white apartheid suporting regime ended. I didn't mention our beyond reproach Queen.
Griffin isn't so different in private to that little lot, imo. And I was including Griffin's 'positive' qualities such as a love for tradition and ceremony, a pride in our history, military, etc. That's all shared by our royal family as well. Is he so very different? I still say 'they know he isn't'. This is just opportunistic PR by the royal household's zealous management team.
Since most BNP supporters seem to be the dispossesed and alienated white working class, who most often reside on council estates with big immigration problems, I doubt very many of the royals are their natural demographic.
A rubbish sense of humour a racist doesn't make.
And the queen's always been a bit about the Commonwealth.

Can't say I can work up much in the way of a strong feeling either way about the Royals; they're just there.
