But do you know what they might try to get away with if there wasn't a union?

Quote: sootyj @ November 1 2009, 6:22 PM BSTBadly.
Agreed!
Quote: random @ November 1 2009, 6:22 PM BSTShit, why didn't I think of that I'll give Dave and Billy a ring and tell them to call it all off! The Giggle-o has the answer!
All this bloody mess, eh, when you could've just asked for better bikes! I bet you're all really embarrassed now.

I suppose they could buy slaves from the flesh pits of Morroco or use shaved chimps or build giant public sector robots.
Otherwise not much worse.
Join unions! Rebel! When did you consent to live like this!
Except all the modern revoloutinaries shit in dustbins, have multiple piercings and are generally wankers.
Nice post there Jules and can't really disagree with any of your points.
My problem is the strike is killing me - or would have done if I hadn't got a different courier in for my big stuff and got the other stuff in the post quicker.
It's shame there is no other way of getting your point across - but to be fair I can't see one.

Cheers bigfella, fully appreciate what you're saying and it genuinly guts me that we've been driven to this.
Do remember – those at the top of RM don't give a shiny shite about you and what your businesses have suffered.
They've forced us into this action in hope of small businesses and the public turning against 'the postie' for holding the country to ransom during the build up to Christmas. Knowing they'd get sucked in by the media headlines.
They are out to get the public onside for privatisation.
However, if nothing else I'm pleased that many of the public are gradually seeing it for what it really is.
Pleased you got sorted your end mate.
Crozier and the rest of those wankers will get in huge bonuses and pension. If the post was reduced to my monthly obsene missive to Sara Palin.
NewLab where no one ever, ever, ever resigns or appologises.

Last night, part of a my (very extensive) dream involved, as a sub-plot, the news that Sarah Palin had been arrested for hiring hit men to murder political opponents. Imagine my disappointment when I woke up this morning, turned on the news and found out this story to be untrue.
Did the dream include getting her sentenced to a one prisoner prison.
Where I was the only guard and for security purposes uniforms were banned...

Interesting Panorama tonight, pretty much echoing the points made by Random. They actually got an ex-Royal Marines fitness instructor to do a post round - and he couldn't complete it in the allotted time!
In other postal news today...
