I just wrote the first four pages of something new - new idea, new pilot. I really like the idea and the characters and the dialogue... I like it all. I feel warm and fuzzy and happy. Is this the best feeling in the realm of writing experience? What's your favourite bit?
I do so look forward to that one.

Completion of same = warmer and fuzzier and happier.
Acknowledgement of receipt = warmer, fuzzier, happier and confident.
Three months on...nothing = warm and fuzzy and happy-ish
Six months on...nothing = Lukewarm, unhappy.
One year on - rejection slip (with surname spelt wrong) = boiling, seething, fist-clenching hatred.
Bloody hell -- stop showing off with your unbelievably quick rejection slips!
