Baker Street (part of Episode 1)

Cool

I very much enjoyed this Roodeye. I think you are on a bit of a hard sell with it mind, as I am pretty sure spoof Sherlock Holmes comedies are pretty high up on the most commonly submitted ideas list. Someone will correct me if I am wrong no doubt.

I found it very funny, Roodeye. Lots of nice jokes and clever.

I'd definitely like to see more.
The dialogue was very good, It was funny & I thought the characterisation of Holmes was great.

Yes amusing, and it would be interesting to see where you go with it, but I fear Marc has a point.

I rather think the problem is more likely to Holmes over-familiarity than his unfamiliarity; in fact the generational thing could work in your favour. Now that there is a generation that did not grow up on Dave Allen and Russ Abbott sketches, perhaps Holmes is ripe for parody again.

Wouldn't it be more clever for it to be 222b and be Sherlock's neighbour who yearns to be like the great Holmes next door, making it a Victorian version of today's "everyone wants to be a pop star?"

222b or not 222b - that is the question.
