I think we'll have to agree that your opinions are worthless to disagree.
Lost in Translation is not a pretentious bore-fest, and Bill Murray is very good in it.
As for Little Shop of Horrors, I thought Steve Martin was the dentist, or have I mis-remembered? Anyway, whoever it was was a pale imitation of Jack Nicholson in the original.
EDIT: Hang on - another mis-remembering, Nicholson was the patient, not the dentist. Maybe that's why I'm getting confused.
