Just to reiterate, as others have said you are not a joke you are someone with potential to be a very successful comedy writer/director. Also must point out the other thread was meant as an affectionate tribute and there was no mallice intended whatsoever, I apologise if this is how it appeared.
Can't speak for James, of course, but I think it was obvious that you didn't intend anything more personal or severe than the kind of ribbing James has admirably dealt with on the (now closed) thread in Critique. 
It's probably just a good time for all the Mr Cotter/Back To Class talk to die down anyway. 
Strongly disagree. In my opinion, the thread should still be open. The rules aren't clear enough on this. The most popular thread ever in Critique is closed (because a mod is 'bored' of it?), yet there are probably a handful of BD1 threads still open. How does that work?

Don, sorry, I should have explained myself more in the thread (I have copied most of this message into the thread now).
I closed the thread because no one was contributing anything of importance, sorry to pick on Morrance but:

I'm all up for a laugh about someones penis but it's not talking about the work so I closed it off, plus most of what needs to be said has been said so I deemed it to be closed.
If Aaron / Mark feels it can be reopened then that's their decision, But I prefer to allow other peoples work to be read and critiqued - instead of people talking about their cocks, that's Ellies area of expertise so we can keep that in general

i feel exactly like this. and I ahve to hand ma work in in two days. I have sent the head of the course (who hates me) and a possibly ill judged request for an extension made up Smiths based puns.
What I was wondering is, wha are the symptoms of swine flu, I know it's not as popular as it used to be but I guess it's still going, if I am going to be ill I'd like to have quite a trnedy illness, so am keeping my fingers crossed.
