The original QI is to be shown on Australia. It is the first country to broadcast the original version of the show (the Dutch have their own version). It will start by showing Series F on 20th October.

Thanks for the tip. Just watched it. Not foreign. Fry does his own version of HIGNFY, substituting news with pub quiz factoids and innuendo-laden drollery, while Alan Davies provides comic relief. Not bad.
Luckily it's on ABC so no ads, and less chance of its being pulled. (Gavin and Stacey lasted one episode on Channel 7 and Jonathan Ross came and went pretty quickly on the same channel.)
Really enjoyed it, although I had seen it before; thank goodness for YTube. Looking forward to more episodes, especially those with David Mitchell.
