Words you hate Page 3

I always cringe when people use that whole "Izzle" way of talking, that Snoop Dogg made famous, thinking it makes them sound cool. Little do they know that real Hip hop fans think Snoop is a moron, who has played a massive part in turning Hip hop into the laughing stock that it is today, and would never talk like him.

Oh, and I hate Chillax as well.

Izzle?? Huh?

Got an example?

It's not playful! Whenever I hear it I can only see the person saying it sat in a Ford Capri with a fist of twenties and a bag of bon bons!

So it's a turn-on then? Huh?

That says more about you than it does them :|

I hate it when someone you are not seeing calls you sexy in a greeting as in "Hello Sexy". Why would you think that is okay? I'm not Barbra Windsor.

Yea I hate that one too. I haaaaate when couples use 'babe' it's so fake.
I have a special hatred in my heart for men who use terms of endearment towards women who are not their girlfriends, fiancees or wives. It's not endearing it's condescending. My wife hates one of my friends just because he won't stop calling her 'hun' and 'sweethart' all the time. He's a clueless chap who's makes a great friend but not someone I would ever set up with a women I liked.

God damnit people are so uptight and cold!

My father-in-law uses the word phenomenal to describe everything: Cheese, Yanni, his 5 year old computer.

I choose phenomenal and parameter.

I'm not uptight or cold, I just think it's a bit unnecessary!

Keep it down Little man, let the women talk. :P ;) Laughing out loud Hug Geek

Not you...particularly!
I know for a fact you're not against terms of, ahem, 'endearment', because you use them (apart from calling people sexy!)

It just means you like someone, why would anyone get upset over it?

No and stop driving past my house.

Fine. I'll drive my Capri past a more appreciating household in future. One who doesn't keep shutting the curtains when they're pogo-sticking in the nuddy. Unimpressed

Hey man, keep using them all you want, but there is nothing uptight or cold happening at my place. GIGIDY GIGIDY!

:D

I don't mind things like sweetheart or darling but I do understand why many women don't. Without the person meaning it to it can be quite rude because you are assuming that it's okay to cross that boundary despite the fact you don't know that person well and it can make a woman feel belittled when she is trying hard to be taken seriously. It's not always meant that way but it can look that way.

So we can expect little Curts any time soon then!

Wow, this thread is the shizzle! Kudos to Ronnie for starting it and setting the parameters, it's all very exciting. I think everyone should chillax though, at a guesstimate I'd say these words will continue; thus making this a stonking thread with phenomenal tension at its heart.

Again, a splendid idea for c**ts everywhere.
