Totally forgot about this, but I liked it by the end.
Grandma's House - Series 1 Page 45
Quote: Roodeye @ October 25 2009, 3:52 AM GMTSimon Amstell - he's Jewish and, in comedy, that's half the battle.
And isn't he gay as well? It's like the BBC commissioners' dream!
I heard the new series was starting in mid-April? Anyone (Aaron) confirm this?
I understand it's pencilled in for an April start at present, but hasn't been confirmed so may very well change.
I quite liked this, lots of people I know didn't. I didn't know he was gay.
Looking forward to it also
I notice this is back on next week, at last, really looking forward to it.
This has only recently aired here. I usually can't stand mock fly on the wall style shows but this one really grew on me. I really like his Mum and Auntie and they way they argue.
Looking foward to the next series if it ever airs here.
Looking forward to the new series too. The last one had some good laughs and a likable performance by The Amstell.
I've just re-watched it six years after I first saw it and I think that it's a bit of a hidden gem. Some great performances and superb dialogue.
