Grandma's House - Series 1 Page 25

"Acting without acting" is a well known term and jewface is old hat too.

I have been "thunking" Aaron & you look a little like Simon from Grandma's house.

Laughing out loud
He does?

Yea he really does don't he. It is him.

I wasn't agreeing! Just asking.

Maybe Simon is the Jewish version of Aaron.
Although Aaron has a more Jewish name...

Aaron & Simon. It is obvious when you think about it.

So Aaron has a "Jew Face?"

Ahhh you said it you can't take it back. :P

Last few mins quite amusing. It is very quietly getting better every week imo, but it's still indulgent, insular, patchy, unoriginal looking, badly written and acted and a bit pointless, imo. Apart from that it's very good. I'm sure it's not the cheapest single cam sitcom to make either because that's quite a large cast that need paying.

Like I said before though, Amstell himself has come across as more likeable if a bit limper than I thought he was. Unfortunately GH has done nothing for his talents though, imo. I thought he was sharp and witty if a bit sarcastic on his presenting shows but his humour in this is at the very best a bit girly.

Yeah, the acting of everyone involved is awful. (It's really not)

The acting of all the females including Amstall was poor, I thought. One very good performance by that Clive actor.

Yeah, I don't know how Rebecca Front has got all that work with the best directors and writers in the industry... Rolling eyes

Oh yes I do! It's because she's excellent.
