Agreed. I felt like it went by really quick, though.
P.S. I'm hungry for Bourbons.

I wasn't sure about it. There's so much material in the book that this hardly scratched the surface-it didn't even mention that Dirk's real surname was Cjelli for instance...
Well as someone who has never read the book/s, that (obviously) didn't bother me!

Plus it had some cats.
What is it with Howard Overman and old cars? He used them extensively in Misfits, and here he is again using a 35 year old car in this production. Proof of the interconnectedness of all things?
Just watched this now. Bloody brilliant- they would be fools not to pick it up.
Is this being repeated? I'd have watched if I'd known H.O. wrote it.
I might watch this as I did enjoy the book.
But Mangan was Adrian Mole last time I looked.
What next?
Bridget Jones?

The young one, or the depressing blind older one?
Older one.
Cappuccino Years.
Did it even get a thread?
Blind?
Or did you mean bland.
I did wonder.
I was about to give up Cappuccinos.
Ha.
I haven't read/seen it, so for all I know he could be blind!
Would be a bit weird though.
The writer went blind and I thought she'd made Mole blind in later books to reflect her condition? Maybe.
