When you're married with kids, Top, you can refer back to this thread and say to her "I barely notice them now. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!".
Dating sites Page 51
Should I message her and say something like '.....haha, love the joke ears, haha....'?
^ no wonder your single!
A Surrey woman is today starting a three year prison sentence
Gold-digger Lorraine Upritchard boasted that she received more than 60 calls a day from lonely-hearts ads placed in local newspapers across the South East.
She fleeced the men she befriended of at least £20,000, though police say the figure could be as high as £100,000.
I've just signed up to a free 3 day trial of Match.com.
I've just got to remember to cancel the subs before Saturday night or I will be charged.
EDIT: A woman I 'favourited' has just returned the favour.
How long do people leave before initial contact and a date on these things?
I don't know, Ben. I'll let you know when I'm at that point.
The main thing I've noticed since being on Match is that people seem to put more effort into their replies than the folk on the free sites. Makes sense, I s'pose.
EDIT: Just been 'winked' at by a 35 year old.
WTF?
Don't wink at me.....say something!
She has a cool profile, though.
The short answer to Ben's question is you arrange to meet when it feels right to do so.
I thought you already had a lady caller, Ben.
Best thing to meet as soon as you can. Have to kiss a few trouts though before you catch a mermaid. I think I met around 9 or 10 before meeting my current one. Still with her after 2 1/2 years.
Hmmm....so I've been on there for a bit now and nothing much to write home about has occurred yet.
Losing interest. Glad I did not pay up!
But....hang on....who is this?
I'm in love. She's got curly hair and she is sending me the sweetest messages! Might give her my old FB details today.....w00t.
Well....just as I was about to give up I've arranged a 'date thing' with a lovely* lady.
I've never, ever met anyone 'from the internet' before.
Nervous as hell....what do I wear? What if I hate her but she likes me? What if she looks nothing like her pictures? Should I take my rape alarm?
*Hopefully.
Internet people are just people. It won't be weird if you don't act like it's weird. I'd go for, as much as I hate the term, a "smart casual" look. Is it coffee or? Jeans and a nice shirt or something, maybe?
On sitcoms/films they always arrange for a friend to ring them half way through with an 'emergency' so they can leave if the blind date is scary.
It is just a meet-up in the tea rooms near her place in the afternoon. I was going to wear dark jeans and a new shirt I've not had the chance to wear yet.

It is not the girl with the ears, btw.
