I think there's a general perception that anyone who uses a dating site is a sad pathetic loser, but this is simply not true. There's also plenty of psychotic nutjobs and blatant liars that use them, too.
Internet dating can be quite useful if you have certain, erm, specialist interests. Not that I have.
