No, nothing like that. She was living over here for quite a few years but suffered a loss so went back home to be with her family for a bit.
I have actually asked her point blank about all the visa stuff, she understood why, so I think she's on the level. Also her computer broke recently and I thought maybe there would be a suggestion about me buying her a new one but no, she's using her brother's for now and then getting herself another one. I have made it very clear that I am pretty poor too.

Can't make my mind up about dating sites. Joined one because I haven't met anyone I like for ages but took my profile down after a week when all the attention I got was from people twice my age.
Where did the people who found good dates over these sites sign up to? Did you have to pay? A lot of the free ones seem to be crowded with creeps...

To be honest I can't remember the name, it was just the first one that Google gave me. But yes, there are lot of creeps, it must be harder if you're a young lady.
I was only on there for like two days. Not the sort of place to hang around in.
