But you see, dear Ian, I own a gun as well. A semi-automatic Ruger 10-22. I come from hunter-gatherers. I'm not personally. Just a misguided gift one year.

A few years ago I joined a dating/find-a-f**k site in Asia, pretending to be a sexy woman looking for a man. My reason for doing this was to snare a Canadian friend of mine, as he had joined the site in the hope of finding "the one". Unfortunately he never contacted me. Most of the responses I got were from somewhat sleazy Arabs and Indians, who kept pestering me for nude photos, phone calls and webcam chats. As for my Canadian friend, he didn't find "the one" - or even me - online, and ended up marrying a woman he met through work. Their wedding party was a lot of fun.
I know three other men who have tried dating websites, but they were only seeking sex, and succeeded on that front. They also had some amusing nightmare tales of meeting women who weren't quite how they had portrayed themselves to be online.
I can't see a BCG Matchmaking Site succeeding unless a lot of guys turn gay or a lot of women join.

There aren't many female posters on this site (I wonder why) and of course most of them aren't single.
