The Thick Of It - Series 3 Page 4

Another tweet ensuring:
"Not leaving UK. Just writing something for HBO which I hope to make next year. Thick of It, Charm, etc will all be back."

Phew! :)

Reminder: this starts tonight on BBC Two just after 10pm... https://www.comedy.co.uk/tv/the_thick_of_it/episodes/3/1/

Strong start, with Rebecca Front slotting in perfectly, I thought. No massive crisis management tonight, but sure it's just around the corner. Hopefully we will see Jamie back at some point in the series. (I also hope that Julius is still lurking somewhere.) :)

Some of Malcolm's lines were awesome.
And there were a couple of good ones in the red button stuff too. :)

It was very good. Some great lines and listening to Malcolm could justtakes me back to my childhood and having a conversation with my father. :)

Aw!

Oh wait, is that good or bad?
I'd love to get shouted at by Malcolm.

Scary as a child, but funny now.

I was a little bit disappointed to be honest. But the first episode is about set up.

What is the red button? I have seen it mentioned before, but can't quite work it out.

Is it when you have finished watching a programme, you press the red button on your remote and you get some sort of extras, relating to what you have just seen?

Is every TV show capable of being red buttoned, or only certain shows?

Thanks. :)

Yep that's it!
It's just certain shows on certain channels. But I suppose they're all capable of doing it, they just don't.

It's basically extra stuff/additional programmes you can get if you're viewing through a digital medium. (Mostly the BBC.)

Thanks, zooo. I wish we had that capability. Although, on the other hand, I watch far too much TV as it is. Never mind being encouraged to watch even more, if that is at all possible. :)
