50 years ago, knobbly knees would have been thought of as funny. How did they become rehabilitated?

The disappearance of rickets.
For some reason I thought imaging Googling "rickets" would produce a funny pic. It didn't and now I feel quite bad .

Marc P - Were you poised à la 'fastest finger first'?
An opportunity for a pun and I am in like Flynn.
It was a humerus pun.

Hmm.
He money shot in his pants.
He looks kind of revolting. Body wise. Like they've popped his head on a weird mannequin.
He has small pecks and fails to be attractive through lack of symmetry.
He looks like he's about to burst into tears.
How can he have an 8 pack? Is that even possible?
Is probably makeup.

LOL.
Lee you weren't in a small band a few years back called 'Right said Fred' were you?
Quote: Tim Walker @ October 8 2009, 12:05 PM BSTMy left eyebrow/eyelid, which has been known to twitch in an involuntary manner when I'm in a highly emotional state, in the style of Chief Inspector Dreyfus from the Pink Panther films.
I spent a bit of time as a kid in front of the mirror, teaching myself how to raise/waggle one eyebrow in the style of Magnum P.I. But I have never been able to waggle my ears without also moving my jaw. Ear waggling is a bit like doing a Sid James laugh. I've been trying and trying for years, but it has always eluded me. Although my Sid James laugh has improved this year and I've recently mastered the Kenneth Williams cackle. The two are surprisingly similar - just differing in pitch/guttural depth.
