Evening all, anything been going on...?

Oh shit... Oh deary, someone's left? Was it me?

*checks*

Phew! Lime will be back, I'm sure.

Many people seem to have been having a miserable few days or so. Let's all have a nice cup of tea (like we did during the Blitz) and things will all seem a lot brighter in the morning. :) Errr Eh?

:D Teary Coffee? Strong liquor? Liquid MDMA?

Liquid MDMA?

Sounds better. :)

A nice cup of liquid MDMA coming right up. Just like Grandma used to make when Adolf was sending over his V2s... (SINGS.) 'Who do you think you are kidding, Mr Hitler...?'

Let's all sleep in a Tube station tonight, it'll help everyone bond. :)

to the chewing gum on the floor.

Like at Bethnal Green? :O

It'll sound really kiss-arsey, but I feel really lucky for, amongst other things of course, being able to talk to Andie. I get just that little bit inspired to carry on.

Thanks Robyn. I come from a family where there's always this unspoken rivalry of "Whose got it the worst?" When I found out I had cancer, all of a sudden everyone was bellyaching about their sore backs or hammer toes. I never entered into the whole experience as a "feel bad for me" kind of thing. Hell, every time I went to chemo I would see at least one person that I knew wouldn't be back next time. How could I have it worse than someone in that boat? As for my other baggage, I've learned that bad things can do bad things to good people. My husband was once a caring loving man who made me feel as though I was the most important thing in the world. Over time, as his "I'm worse offness" kicked in, he became the kind of miserable "funsucker" that I can't stand to be around. Suddenly his problems were bigger than mine and "How can you be tired?" (after chemo) became his mantra. But thru all of this, I realized that there's always somebody who has it genuinely worse than I ever will and that all I can do is be grateful for what I have and try to do what I can to make things easier for those who are worse off. :)

And no, it didn't sound "kiss-arsey". "Arsey" sounds weird when I say it. Must be the accent. ;)

Are we related, lol?

Andrea you have certainly been very positive in the face of adversity and you're great. :) (how kiss-arsey is that?)

Thanks Dolly. Still sounds weird when I say it, like someone trying to do the worst fake accent ever. :P

We probably are related somehow. My mom's mom (I'd call her grandma, but she's the world's worst excuse for one) has family that came from Britain, but she doesn't know where. From what I know of her family, they sound like Daisy and Onslow types, without the laugh track.

I love everyone here and think you all are fantastic. Except for the twit who criticized something I said. Oh wait...they've left. Yep, love everybody. <3

I thought you were supposed to be a caricature of Britishness! You don't like roast dinners and NOW you don't like tea?!
