Glastonbury 2010 Page 2

The atmosphere at Glastonbury is a bit surreal, once the performances have finished and all those thousands of people retreat to their tents. It put me in mind of a giant army camp from the eighteen hundreds. The tents are all on hills, and they seem to go on forever.

The tents are all on hills, and they seem to go on forever.

When I was there, the all-night rave my neighbours had also seemed to go on for ever. Half way through the night their generator ran out of fuel and the sound system went dead...and there was a huge cheer from the rest of us who actually wanted to get to sleep.
