Sheringham it's like Woodstock by the sea man. Errr

This is the place that used to have white painted dinosaur prints through the town (or was that Cromer). Anyway, I stayed at the hippy commune that is Sheringham YHA and heen many times. I've taken the train to Holt and spent many happy hours in that antique and bric-a-brac shop on the main shopping Street. Where else could you find a vinyl LP on rheumatoid arthritis?

Sheringham was also the scene for the most revs I've ever seen given to a Ford Fiesta by an Octogenerian. Every dog in the district ended up with pierced ear drums that day.

Holt, who goes there?

Here is the CIty of Truro arriving in Holt.

I for one, hope Norwich/Norfolk isn't successful.

The redevelopment and construction works would take years and the lagacy would be lots of costly maintenance of facilities with a dubious afterlife. All this for staging an event that lasts what, 2-3 weeks?

OK, like Marc, I live in North Norfolk and probably wouldn't suffer any direct impact but on this subject, I'm a NIMBY! Angry

*alights high horse*

My friend used to live in Holkham Hall. That's not far from Wells.

Is your friend the Earl of Leicester?

Nope, but my mate's mum was a cleaner for the Earl.
