Great News to Share

This thread is for people to share their great news.

I've had a piece of great news of my own - hence the thread.

I've had a letter from Jhio-Si Lang President of a Banking Corporation in Mayalsia! A client of theirs died last year leaving over 34 million in US dollars.

And because my name is the same he has asked my to help him get this money out the country. And I get 25% all for a simple wire transfer.

So obviously this wonderful news...so I'm off to a nice island somewhere hot and bugger comedy writing!

This was actually a letter not a email! So I'm dead chuffed. :) :)

Go for it! Laughing out loud

Yeah put the scary thing is that it was a physical letter from overseas!

It means it's real! Laughing out loud

Wow that's great news. I had something simialr but was a fool and deleted it. :(

My piece of great news today is that I have been offered another credit card. I can't wait to hit the shops and buy stuff I don't really need. Brilliant!

There's nothing like free money!

You sound like Mrs B

" They would't give me the limit if they don't want me to spend it"

I just won 20 quid on a scratchcard. I spent it on a big bottle of vodka, 20 Silk Cut silvers and a 6 pack of chicken and mushroom Pot Noodles. And another scratchcard, which lost. Can anyone else think of a more chavvy shopping expedition?

Oh and I bought a bottle of fizzy Perrier too so I suppose that exonerates me a little.

I don't allow myself dreams like that. If it happens, it happens, but let's keep one foot in reality shall we?

Thank you Mr Leevil. A fellow gastronome.

I enjoy Beef & Tomato far too often. I also eat the same Pot Noodle flavour lots too.
