With a star-studded line-up, the Brown Eyed Boy LaughterShock Tour climaxes on October 2nd at 10pm on the Soho Theatre main stage. Featuring stand-up and filmed sketches from 10 of the best new comedians from around the UK, the intention of the night is to provoke response and push the boundaries of taste and decency.
With previous shows including International LaughterShock at The Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh, Extreme Gay and Lesbian LaughterShock at The Wilton's Music Hall and Multicultural LaughterShock at the Hackney Empire the final show is set to be the funniest and most extreme yet.
The line-up is as follows:
· Miss London - WINNER of Funny Women 2009
· Naz Osmanoglu - 2009 winner of the Amused Moose Laugh-Off competition, and So You Think You're Funny finalist the same year
· Daniel Simonsen - Winner of the So You Think You're Funny? new act competition, 2008, and finalist in the Laughing Horse new act competition the same year.
· Katherine Ryan - WINNER of Funny Women 2008
· Wade McElwain - WINNER of the Funniest New Comedian at Canadian Comedy Awards.
· Sarah Campbell - Finalist in the 2008 Funny Women competition
· Eric Lampaert - "Comic Oddity - Delightfully Weird" - Time Out
· Caroline Mabey - "A demented hybrid of Alan Partridge and Fawlty Towers" -Bruce Dessau (Critics Choice in the Evening Standard)
