So Mr Brown how will you cope with the complex issues around the spiralling UK debt?

GORDON
Well prudent tax raises, careful monitoring of expenditure and probably some prayer.

INTERVIEWER
And Mr Cameron?

DAVID
I'd just like to say I'm not Gordon Brown.

INTERVIEWER
A very good answer Mr Cameron. Now Mr Brown how will you extricate the UK from Afghanistan with out surrendering the war on terror?

GORDON
By building up UK forces, supporting Afghani democracy and having a clear vision.

INTERVIEWER
Same question Mr Cameron?

DAVID
In 2007 I was 100% not Gordon Brown, in 2008 I was 100% not Gordon Brown and this year I was 105% not Gordon Brown.

INTERVIEWER
We haven't heard much from you Mr Clegg.

NICK
I'm not David Cameron.

DAVID
Yes you are!

GORDON
I wish I wasn't Gordon Brown.

Nice idea but Gordon needs a joke on his second appearance, and the end needs something more. Not sure what.

Yeah, pretty good sooty, but I'd like to see a pro gordon brown sketch. After all, disappointment to socialism that he is, he's still a lot better than those other two c**ts.

Thumbs up from me, Sootyj. Agree that Brown's last line is a bit flat though. If you can't think of a better ending just end on the previous line.

It's alright mate, but it's a bit one-note. You've obviously got right to the rub of the current political zeitgeist, but that's about it. There's no real new joke there, unless I'm missing it.

I like this. I reckon you should maybe work on it a bit but with a couple more gags in it I reckon you could send it off to Newsjack, from what I know it is back in November.

Not bad at all, but try to imagine it on a sketch show, would it make you laugh out loud or would it be too predictable ?
