Marcus Brigstocke comedy Page 2

Didn't the Brigstocke thing have George Cole in it, or am I imagining it?

A girl who lived on my sofa for a while went to uni with Brigstocke and Matt Lucas. Interesting fact for the day. :)

Unfortunately, that interesting fact has had its interestingness reduced by fifty per cent due to the inclusion of Marcus Brigstocke in it.

Laughing out loud

Reminds me of the time I accepted the Academy Award for Best Actress for my performance in Monster's Ball. Turns out they mistook me for some bird called Halle Berry?

Easy mistake to make. She's a 'black star' and you like snack bars.

:D

Okay, is it more interesting if I add that she now lives in Israel and has a bomb shelter?

But does she still live on a sofa?

Mmmnnn... sofa fanny. :)

In one.

That's much better. Far more edifying, fact wise.

We have a err Sofa suppliers (is that what they are known as?) which is called Sofa King and on the side of their vans it reads,

Sofa King Low Prices.

Ah, puns. Always makes me smile.

Actually, I think this is it? Although this may be an old/different one.

It's still very unusual to have only 1 out of 10 posts which are against him. Elsewhere, I've seen legions of Brigstocke-haters, especially after his featuring of foie gras on "I've Never Seen Star Wars".

Well he wasn't playing himself, and I don't think that many (any?) of the objections to him are based on his appearance and/or voice.

I like his Giles Wemmbley Hogg character... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-JAdk_vgx0

Brigstocke will be back soon as a team captain in Argumental. To be fair to him, he does a good job on that - it is harder than it looks (as Richard Herring explains). Of course, that all said, The Now Show is Brigstocke's perfect home.
