I've just seen... Page 98

Up in the Air, not as good as I'd hoped.

And Vera Farmiga, one of my favourite actresses, really needs to lay off the Botox.

A documentary, Heidi Fleiss: The Would-Be Madam of Crystal, all about the former Hollywood madam's efforts to open a brothel for female clients in Nevada. A fascinating but sad story about crystal meth abuse, exotic birds and the chauvinism of the Nevada sex industry.

As opposed to the non-chauvinist sex industries everywhere else. ;)

I think New Zealand has some brothels run by women - without the unpleasant element of a sleazy, old, fat man running the show. (I once saw a documentary about New Zealand brothels). Heidi Fleiss seemed to think the sex industry people in Nevada opposed her "for female clients only" brothel because they felt brothels should be for male clients only and that Heidi's planned 'Stud Farm' would likely end up being for gay clients. But (to me) the documentary was more about meth abuse, as well as the highs and lows of unwittingly inheriting a large family of exotic birds.

The Crazies. Pretty decent remake of Romero's seventies horror about a town infected by a virus that makes everyone go insane. Nice pitchfolk-in-a-hospital-ward scene too.

I rather enjoyed that.

Just finished watching The Sorcerer's Apprentice. I enjoyed it.

Not all in one night thank God.
One of them I really wish I hadn't bothered.
REALLY wish I hadn't bothered.

Right first time Gavin

How to Make an American Quilt.

I found it sew-sew.

Patchy at best.

It stopped working halfway through. Reckon I got stitched up.

Yup. Great film for Kid's at Christmas I reckon - and we enjoyed it too.
