Well it was mainly just one gross scene, but still. Sick

You're quite a squeamish young lady, aren't you Laura?

Might be. :$

I do love watching horror though. Must be a masochistic thing.

I've just seen R2D2 and C3P0 walking around Curry's in an advert....It's gonna take years to erase the mental damage that's done.

They were probably cruising for gay dishwashers

Just saw Crazy Heart. Despite finding it hard to get into it, I quite enjoyed it in the end.

*packs cudgel and heads for London*

If I knew what a cudgel was I might be scared!

Blood Simple. All that Coen talk in another thread made me fancy watching their first (and best) film again.

Schindler's List. All that Danny Cohen talk in another thread...

I've got a couple of movies taped to watch
Should I delete any & not bother?

Dog Soldiers
Jarhead
Juno
Sahara
Master & Commander

Sahara
Master

Totally horse shit.
Sahara they just shout at each other all way through. Master n Commander Russell Crowe is a knob head.

I'd say Juno but I've never bothered to wath it looks to...Deliberately self aware for my liking.

Definitely watch Dog Soldiers.

I deleted Jarhead myself, after watching about 30 minutes.

I'm glad I asked
Saves me some time.
Cheers folks.

Jarhead
Juno

Jarhead - nothing here that wasn't done much better in Full Metal Jacket - and, indeed, for a study on the Iraq situation, you're better off with the tongue-in-cheek Three Kings. It's an OK-ish movie. It's certainly not a Platoon for the modern era (as some twat most likely called it).

Juno - worth watching for the lead performances - plus to see which way the wind's blowing in Hollywood indie flicks - this is the future of teen dramas, my friend. Too much wise-cracking for my tastes, slightly too knowing and contrived when it tries to be romantic/sentimental. It's a decent film with some genuinely funny moments though. You'll either find Ellen Page completely adorable or snottily obnoxious in this. Or possibly both. Style slightly outweighing substance, overall.
