I've just seen... Page 414
The new Beatles documentary. Fantastic...the first Ron Howard movie I've been fully enjoying.
Quote: Will Cam @ 3rd September 2016, 12:02 PMSpud... One of those films you've never heard of and stumble across, which turn out to be brilliant.
Thanks. That's tonight's viewing taken care of. Provided it's better than those Three Investigators movies.
Quite a busy weekend - by my standards anyway.
Went to see Dr Strange on Saturday evening. I remember reading his comics in the 1960s. Some really tremendous and beautiful effects.
Sunday night I saw Colin Blunstone play at the Boom Boom Club in Sutton. He has made some fantastic records and has such a unique voice.
Last week I was in Edinburgh and saw Inferno, which wasn't very good in its own right but Mrs Will Cam was beside herself due to differences in the plot of the book ( which she had read, I had not). I also saw the last night of Billy Elliot which was very good but a tad (f**king lot) too socialist for my Conservative tastes.
I also saw a Mongolian busker with a strange plastic keyboard with built in microphone and one volume on his antique speaker (obscenely loud). He was wailing Coldplay songs by a busy road crossing which was bastard torture waiting for the green man.
I've just watched Snatched. First time I've seen it. Very enjoyable.
If you mean 'Snatch' - loved the film. Thought 'Brick Top' was brill...
If you meant 'Snatched' - no idea. Though 'Brick Top' in 'Snatch' was still brill...

We also saw 'Doctor Strange' at the weekend (and when I say 'we', I refer to my geeky male friend and not my husband) and hugely enjoyed it. Cumberbatch's performance was outstanding, as was the rest of the cast. It was great to see the comedy God, Benedict Wong there too.
I went to see 'Nocturnal Creatures' this afternoon. Hmm. Talk about a project being talked up for no reason. It seemed *much* longer than the 116 minute running time and the woman sat behind me was snoring her head off. Oh dear - perhaps I'm just not as into bizarre meta storytelling as I'd like? The cinematography was divine, but ... pah!
