"Killing Them Softly" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1764234/
Grimly funny and well put together.

In Time. The anti-capitalist message is a bit heavy handed. And Justin Timberlake a bit too lightweight to carry the film. But it's still an enormously fun sci-fi thriller. And the world where time is the only currency, and everybody has clocks on their arms telling them exactly how long they have left to live is well realised.

Ben Affleck looks exactly like my dad in the '80s in that film.

His beard in that film is by no means massive!

Well it's no Brian Blessed. But it's fairly big.

Is he still with beard, zooo?

No, daddy zooo shaved it all off one night without warning us. So we all thought there was some random man in the house next morning.

If we'd been American he probably would have got shot.

Classic midlife crisis! I suspect he was trying to shave years off himself and return to the days when he was a young care free sailor man.

Quite probably.

I'm watching Skyfall tonight. On Bluray. Even have some popcorn in for it.

It's quite an eye full

The new Star Trek on DVD. It was quite enjoyable, more than I expected. But I'm still thinking that the main cast is too young. The younger and sexier the better...stupid Hollywood rule.

To be fair, the old guys had their run with it.
