If an advert was going to make me buy perfume (which it never would, until smellovision happens), Brad Pitt chuntering on about something might have a slightly better chance of succeeding than some silly tart running around trying to be quirky or alluring or whatever that perfume has decided its core audience want to be. At least Brad's something nice to look at.

God, why are adverts so shit?

Perfume adverts are hilarious. The one thing they could do to sell their product might be to describe what sort of smell it is, but instead they have a woman in a ridiculously ugly dress (split all the way up the front) sashaying towards you aggressively saying things like "Do the unexpected" or "Be true to your desires". I'm so inspire now. Or how about all the men's scents that seem to involve perfectly-groomed men breaking convention. Yeah! Wear a t-shirt to a black-tie event! Storm out of a press-conference! You are free!

Pretentious yet risible perfume adverts are a part of our cultural heritage. We should cherish them.

This is why I'm going to exploit a gap in the market with my new fragrance, "Conformity". Available soon. Ads will feature people happily going about their business, stopping only to point in horror at freaky fashion models.

Prometheus - Nonsensical Nonsense Very disappointing.

Bourne Legacy - Boring

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter - Ok, kinda funny.

Men in Black 3 - Quite good fun

Looking for a friend for end of the world - Enjoyable enough

Resident Evil: Retribution - the woman who plays Ada Wong is so creepily like the CG character sometimes it looks like they've CG'd her into the film. It's shit though.

Taken - Great fun

The Grey - Not quite as Fun as Taken but still pretty good

Batman: Under The Red Hood. I've just started getting into these DC Comics animated films and this one's very good. Any film that starts with the Joker beating Robin to death gets my vote. Can't wait to watch some more.

That one is very good. Have you seen Dark Knight Returns?

The Batman/Superman ones are good as well not as good. Supergirl is in the second one so it's a little lame.

Not yet. I've only seen Red Hood, Mystery Of The Batwoman and Mask Of The Phantasm so far. Although I have Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths and the Superman/Batman Appocalyse ready to watch (I have a feeling Appocalyspe is the Supergirl one you mentioned).

I've also seen season one of Batman: The Animated Series, which was very good.

Yes Apocalypse is the Supergirl one.

Oh Crisis on Two Earth is good!

Batman The Animated is a brilliant show gets even better in next 2 series, then goes a bit wonky.

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is quite entertaining.

Superman All Star is worth checking out as well as superman vs the elite (Superman looses his shit big time)

Yeah, I definitely want to get into the Superman stuff. It's a pity it just seems to be DC that does movies as I'd like to see some of Marvel's characters done in the same way too.

Marvel have done some

Hulk vs Wolverine
Hulk Vs Thor
World War Hulk
Invincible Ironman
Ultimate Avengers
Ultimate Avengers: Rise of Black Panther
The Next Avengers

They aren't very good though not in same league as the DC ones.

Unfortunately those are all crap.

Unlike the Incredibles which is aces.

I can also recommend more Batman TAS, and also X-Men TAS and, to a lesser extent, X-Men Evolution. There is also the Batman: Year One film and a hilarious Superman film whose name escapes me for the moment.

Edit: It's called Superman vs The Elite.

X-Men TAS, was a little shit though lol!

The Superman film has some language in it Americans obviously don't understand. An English super-character in it says a few things you wouldn't expect in a kids film, including 'wanker'.

:O I liked it.

Its ok. Wolverine is so funny he smack talks everyone but just gets his ass beaten all the time lol!

For the time period, its worth checking out, and they do interesting stuff not just same plot over and over.
