Mad Max 2 is on
Do you have to watch Mad Max 1 first or doesn't it matter?

Doesn't matter.

I've not seen Mad Max for years, I bet they look very eighties now.

The only film Mel Gibson is actually attractive in.

Now that you've gone through it, I suppose it doesn't make much chronological sense, but I think you're perhaps looking too deep.

I normally don't mind it, but they make such a large thing about the setting in this film it kinda f**ks its own internal timelogic, and fails for me.

Mad Max 2 is rather fun. doesn't need much of a back story, he's mad, names Max.

He cut quite a dash during the mullet years.

He was a big hit with the mums.

:D

I really like Mel Gibson.
Is that Ok these days, or is it akin to voting UKIP?

He is a complicated person, mad as a box of frogs, he's just made a film where a glove puppet is his sidekick, and I don't mean Jodie Foster

Is that the Beaver one?
It's meant to be quite good.

That's the one, not bad, there was a great idea in there, but it didn't quite work, some casting issues, Gibson probably not the best choice for much at the mo.

I stopped donating to charity once Jimmy Savile gave it a bad name.

He should direct more, he's pretty good at that. Apocalypto was great fun with it's beheadings and panthers ripping peoples faces off and pregnant women trapped in pits steadily filling with water.

Yea directing seems to be a better bet for him, if he can get funding. The Passion of Christ was one of the most harrowing films I've ever seen, but powerful none the less.

I watched Ted last night. Laughed a few times, but was a bit bored about 1/2 way through. Pretty basic storyline.
