I just saw an advert trying to sell cat food especially for neutered cats. The tagline was 'it helps your cat live life to the full'.

Getting your balls cut off so you lose all sexual desire does not exactly match my view of 'living life to the full'.

I suppose they couldn't have told the truth: 'Now that your bollock free moggy is lying around the house looking depressed and lethargic, he's probably gonna get a bit fat on normal cat food. So why not piss on his razor cuts further by taking away another of life's pleasures and give him less tasty cat food...you know, to punish him'.

Drive. I'm afraid I'm in the pro camp. I enjoyed it. The plot's cliched as hell, and the woman character wafer thin, but it's done with the style and verve of an early Michael Mann film. Although the scene where he was getting information out of the blousy bint from Mad Men contained an awful lot of unintentionally funny pointing.

'Horrible Bosses'. I loved it. And now I know what Wet Work is.

'Gosforth Park'. Enjoyed it though we still haven't worked out who done it.

'War Horse.' Spielberg makes an unlikely story likely.

Saw Looper last night. Loved it. That JGL is on a real streak right now.

The Deadly Comapnions, Peckinpah's cinematic debut. He has done much better, but worth catching just to see cuddly old Chill Wills as a bat shit crazy psychopath.

Sucker Punch. A right load of old balls. That I found oddly enjoyable.

That has to be one of the worst films I've ever seen. It's like someone saw a bunch of pseudo porn scifi films of the 60s and 70s. And thought lets make it again with a really awful mental illness plot nailed on; like a dead rate stapled to a turd,

I did say "oddly enjoyable". It was pap, but I sort of enjoyed how much of a massive misfire it was.

Funny, I only saw tits. Anyway I'm pretty sure this film is actually only 10 mins long and they managed to stretch it out 90mins with slow motion effects.
