It looks that way already. No M4A1 pulse rifles this time.
The Starwars new films were so lousy no one even took the piss out of them (ok the Simpsons tried but it was too depressing)

Don't think he's made a film I've liked since Blade Runner.
You didn't like Aliens or Alien?
Alien was made before Blade Runner and James Cameron made Aliens.
Other good Sir Wrigley movies - Black Hawk Down, Black Rain, Gladiator and American Gangster.
Ouch I is defeated.
But Blackhawk down is awsome as is the Hovis advert.

Gladiator?! You is well Gay.
He hasn't come close to matching Alien and BR. Apart from GI Jane, obviously.
I liked GI Jane!
Obviously ain't no Alien though.
WERE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!
Just looked at what else he's done. I liked Matchstick Men.
I quite enjoyed his Robin Hood. It had flaws aplenty but it was far more interesting than I thought it would be.
And American Gangster was very good too. So was Thelma and Louise. All much better than Blade Runner, which is okay in a sterile sort of way, but it didn't have anywhere near enough plot to be the noir it dreamed of being.

He's done films that are sort of okay, but nothing on the level of those two early films for me.
I don't really like Blade Runner.
I like Blade Runner, it looks amazing and pretty much defined a genre.
But the stories a little hollow at its heart.

It is a bit over rated. I don't really understand why it inspires such masturbatory fanboy love.
Alien and Blade Runner both redefined what scifi films looked like in the same way Star Wars did (and Avatar didn't)
I loved all that 80s cyberpunk stuff.
