'Titanic'. Considering the boat is now sinking, I'm wondering how they'll get another 3 episodes out of it.

The Americans will come in and save it (then whoop and holler).

Finally got round to watching Midnight in Paris yesterday. It's very enjoyable. Owen Wilson is basically playing Woody Allen, but he does it well and doesn't come across as a pastiche.

I should really see that.

Does anyone rent DVDs anymore? I haven't for ages. Do people just download them or use those cheap postal rental services now?

Saw "Drive" the other night.
Bloody good - especially Albert Brookes.
The 80's credits threw me a bit at first - after that, though, terrific.

Do you have rental vending machines? They've started popping up here in the last year or so. You rent something for a night using a credit card. The main ones here even allow you to return it to any machine, not just the one you rented from.

I use LoveFilm - pretty pleased with it apart from sometimes they don't have certain films on it.

You're better off using the internet for scat porn.

Unfortunately watched 'Cowboys and Aliens' over the weekend. A terrible, terrible movie so full of plot holes, unlikely coincidences and pointless action sequences, that I was rolling my eyes almost constantly.

It's biggest crime was wasting such a talented cast on such a useless and expensive endeavour.

Oh and Daniel Craig has now entered that long list of actors who are too large and iconic to play a character. Just as with Clint Eastwood, Daniel Radcliffe and Arnie Schwarzenthingy, every time he appears on screen, you think 'oh look, it's James Bond, I wonder what he's doing in the old west?'.

Avoid this cliched, poorly written and flashy bit of crap.

Thanks David.

Just FINALLY saw Speilberg's Tintin film. Bloody loved it.

'Gentlemen Broncos', a very slight, low key film from the guy who made 'Napoleon Dynamite', featuring 'Flight Of The Conchords' Jemaine Clement in a great part as a Michael York voiced, pompous writer of lousy sci-fi books. It got very poor reviews when it came out, but I liked it. There wasn't much to it, but if you enjoyed ND I imagine you'd quite like this too.

The bit with Wind of Change was pretty sweet. And I loved all those versions of the same film.

I definitely wanna read Yeast Lords, the Bronco Years.

But I can see how bits are a bit repetitious and it was always gonna be in the shadow of Napoleon Dynamite.
