I've just seen... Page 231

I Saw The Devil. Bleak, relentless and squirmingly violent revenge film from South Korea. Great fun.

Your Highness. Terrible. Just terrible.

Scooby Doo Mystery Inc.

Quite enjoyed it, new take on old Scooby Doo, great art style.

What the Scooby Doo movie? I quite liked that.

New series.

'Birdsong'. I loved the book. This was quite different because it used flashback, but still enjoyed it.

Just seen Anuvahood and Attack the block. Awesome, awesome. Loved the ridiculous characters in Anuvahood and absolutely loved the cast of Attack the block. I don't know how this movie slipped past me. After watching it the feeling was..fresh. I mean, aliens getting smashed by kids with baseball bats and ice skates..genius. I'm really hoping for a sequel.

I have that book and am so excited about reading it that I might not read it in case I don't like it.. Is it really as good as everyone says?

I have a mental block about war things (and deserts) so I thought I'd hate it (somebody lent me it), but I found it enthralling and it did make me interested in WW1.

I've just been to see Seminar on Broadway, starring Alan Rickman....

A very well-written, funny play, with Rickman at his sardonic best.

It's about a bunch of bitter and frustrated aspiring writers. I do hope the BCG is getting some kind of royalty?

Warmest greetings from (a very cold) New York, everyone. Wave

Welcome to our humble home. Sorry that it's so cold there; I had to change clothes 2 hours ago because I was hot. (And spilled salmon dip on my jeans.)

What are you doing in NY TW?

I saw Sophie's Choice for the first time this weekend.

Enthralling to watch and absolutely heart breaking.

Meryl Streep is sooo watchable, no wonder she has Oscars and Golden Globes coming out of her ears.

Great stuff, that. Really enjoyed the way that by the end of the movie I started feeling sympathy for one of the most reprehensible characters ever committed to film.
