Much like the original then.
I've just seen... Page 228

Not as impressive as the hype.
It's directed by the same person who did Mama Mia, so I'm not sure hopes were that high for it.

There was hype?

It was Jolly good, as was Thor.
See! I told you it was good!
Get Him to the Greek. Didn't know if I'd like it, did.
Last night I went to the Royal Albert Hall to see Cirque du Soleil's Totem. Quite spectacular and wonderful.
I Love You Phillip Morris. It comes across like a a bit of a Coen Brothers-wannabe comedy at times, but it's an incredible story and the love affair between Jim Carrey and Ewan McGreggor is quite touching. And the twist towards the end is the second time I've been wrong-footed by a film this week.
Yes, I enjoyed it too.

You know it's a true story.
It's good and an awesome performance from the 2 leads.
Well made film, funny, loved the music. But they somehow didn't quite get the sense of tragedy of the story.

Yeah, I know. That's why it's so incredible. Those c**ts in Texas should let him out of prison.
The problem is he is an insane criminal genius who could bankrupt the state if he wanted to,
but yeh they should let him go, find some way of using those skills for good.

Never saw the film, but saw a documentary on the dude, think it was Discovery Channel or FBI Files and it was fantastic. Especially the faking of his own death by AIDS. I remember watching it thinking, 'this would make a good film'.
The Hole. Enjoyable little film about some kids who find a bottomless hole in their basement. It's directed by the man who made Gremlins and Explorers, and has the same feel as those minor eighties classics.
World Trade Centre. It starts well, but then the planes hit and Nicolas Cage spends the next two hours trapped under some rubble. Not even Jesus popping up with a bottle of Evian can liven things up.
Hobo With a Shotgun. A wonderful way to spend an hour and a half.
