I've just seen... Page 18

I just watched Election. I should have watched it sooner.

One of my favourite films, that.

I just watched Son of Rambow which was okay, but spoiled a bit at the end by a mate of mine who does extra work invading the frame for a good 30 seconds. I had no idea she'd worked on the film and couldn't concentrate on the plot for her big-haired presence.

Now you know how we feel, big-hair!

I 've just watched 'Carmen' at the Millennium Theatre in Cardiff. Ok but 'Porgy and Bess' was better.

Anyone on here seen Ghost Stories at the Lyric Hammersmith in London? I was thinking about seeing it next week.

I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally want to see it.

Am genuinely worried it might be too scary though!

Well my girlfriend's pregnant and I'm a bit worried she might pop during the show if it's that scary. Oh well, suppose we'll give it a go.

Never heard of Ghost Stories, but I just looked it up and it sounds good. Maybe I'll go with Bert if his gf chickens out.

We could hold hands, Ben.

Is that all you do on a first date?

Is Rushmore any good?

Is Rushmore any good?

Very good indeed. Funny you mention it too as the first time I saw Election I watched it as a double-bill with Rushmore.

I knew you'd answer this, o king of late 90s cinema.

I ran a video shop in the noughties after Uni and had a lot of catching up to do. I was up to five films a day at one point. It was breathtaking.

I've never seen Election, it sounds good though from what I've read about it. Speaking of Rushmore, has anyone seen Life Aquatic of Steve Zissou? By far my favourite Wes Anderson film, it was before Fantastic Mr Fox came out anyway, which comes a close second.

It's a very good film. But as a woolly hat and cagoule aficionado, I was bound to be a fan.

I love Rushmore, but Wes Anderson gets on my nerves a bit now.
