I watched Happiness recently. It was good although I imagine it would turn a few stomachs. Particularly the balcony scene at the end.

Someone lent me Adam and Paul this week. I enjoyed its bleakness.

Donnie Brasco. I wish I knew somebody in the mafia. I could have people whacked and shit. :(

Great film.

Just watched Take The Money and Run, very funny film. It is so easy to forget what a fantastic comedy writer Mr Allen once was when you watch his recent output. Sleeper, Play it Again Sam and Take The Money are some of the finest comedy films I've seen. I must admit, I thought Match Point was a fantastic film in it's own right too.

I love Woody's old films.

I don't mind a few of his newer ones, but they don't really match up.

People lose their edge and get stale. One day in the future people will even talk about how zooo's posts are okay, but nowhere near as good as they used to be. And they were never that good to begin with!

That Vicky Christina Barcelona one was awful I thought, and it got really rave reviews. It just seemed very indulgent to me, it seems like all his films now involve some sort of affair and are sex mad, as if he is trying to justify what he's done in his personal life to the world and perhaps even himself. On a slight tangent, am I alone in finding Manhattan rather boring? I loved Annie Hall, but don't get the fuss about Manhattan, opening montage aside.

I'm afraid I do love Manhattan!

Charlie Wilson's War. Pretty good. And plenty of gorgeous women to boot. Lovey

I didn't really like it that much first time, but I was expecting so much from it. Mainly because it's written by Sorkin, but also due to it having Hanks and Seymour-Hoffman in it. Re-watched it again recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, the Russian soldiers really are rather cliche, sadistic evil mad men, Sorkin is above that surely? and the special effects are very poor. Still, a fun hour and a half or so.

I recently watched Funny people with Adam Sandler.
It was pretty good.

What did he think of it?

:D

I couldn't remember the other guys name, I was thinking Josh Rogan - but that's a Curry.

Seth Rogen that's it.

They both enjoyed it, Seth brought snacks.

They were pretty bad.

I just watched Election. I should have watched it sooner.
