I've just seen... Page 155

Anthony Valentine. Still working apparently.

The Strangers. Cliched but effective home-invasion horror movie. Must have been done before Liv Tyler got her trout pout as her lips weren't too in your face.

You wouldn't think she'd need any help, with her dad.

Speed Racer. Some shockingly poor acting, a cheesy as hell story, and Christina Ricci playing 17 and looking 45, but strangely enjoyable. Mainly thanks to the eye-popping visuals and, although it pains me to say it, the comedy monkey.

I think you've made that film up.

It gave me a headache, but it was ok.

It's from the makers of The Matrix and died on its sorry arse at the box office. The world just wasn't ready for a comedy monkey that's a bit crap at kung-fu.

Ah, The Wachoiskis(sp).

Didn't one of them do something odd? Have a sex change or something?

I wish I could afford the kind of dope powerful enough to convince one a cheap poorly dubbed cartoon based on an 8 bit console game would make a decent film.

Internal Affairs. One of my favourite crime films of the eighties, and containing some of Richard Gere's finest squinting.

>_< <--Gere

:D (Although I am partial to a bit of the old Buddhist)

Just watched Shutter Island with Leonardo Dicaprio (not with with him...mores the pity :) anyone else seen it? an excellent film, found it really engrossing, and I loved the twist it took , I wasnt expecting that at all.

I read the book first, and really wish I hadn't as it spolied the movie, but any chance to watch Di Caprio is good with me. He's really grown into being a fine actor as well as being smoking hot.

Haven't seen that film yet.
It's on the list (of about 500) that I need to get around to some day.
