I've just seen... Page 153

Debatable. But this internet forum is neither the time or the place to into that.

;) Well where is it, up your stratosphere?

Debatable.

That Who is for grown ups as well as kids? You not liking it does not make it debatable.

But this internet forum is neither the time or the place to into that.

Why is 'internet forum' in italics??

T'was to emphasize my lame joke. And to say 'Who is "debatable" must be more refreshing than hearing straight out it is for kids.

Thirst, a strange vampire film from the director of Oldboy. Slow moving, but with enough twisted bonkers brilliance to make it worthwhile.

A Single Man. A grieving gay college professor in 1960s America prepares to kill himself. Colin Firth's very good, but it's too restrained for its own good.

I do like old Firthy.

I do like old Firthy.

He's a very good non-showy-offy actor.

I don't think I've ever watched anything he's in that I've really enjoyed.

;) How about the Queen?...

:P Oh my God Bruce Parry has just said ; 'At least Bruce has come out thick and clean', lol! a programme on Artic fishing.

Hot Tub Time Machine - on SKY at the moment.

Set in the 80's but also has that 80's comedy feel (simple story, simple laughs, no fast MTV type editing).

An easy to watch 1hr 40 min.

I thought HTTM was very good fun.

I very much enjoyed Hour of the Pig, a comedy-drama set in Medieval France where he plays a lawyer who has to defend a pig charged with murder. I can't remember if the pig gets off or not.

I seem to remember he was (ham)strung up.

See you all next week, folks!

I've just introduced my 21yo daughter to the joy of 'Life of Brian' !

She loved it !

Timeless comedy . . .

:)
