Tell me about it, stud!

:D

I'd never miss Paul W. The varmint!

she'd go to the Cineplex with me to see
'Paul'...
But now she's saying she won't.
I'm still going, even if it means going on my own!"

Oh, Tim, you're so cutting!

Pray silence for satire! ;)

You do nothing but catch me out these days, Tim. I fear for my safety.

I'm going to see Paul tonight. WHEY!

Laughing out loud

Pontypool. Interesting little zombie film in which the virus is transmitted via language. Not entirely succesful, but in a genre that hasn't had a new idea since 1968, hats off for originality. And thankfully it's Pontypool in Canada not Wales.

Paul. Bloody good fun.

Paul. Bloody good fun.

Interesting. The majority of the reviews/reactions I've seen/heard so far have expressed disappointment. Certainly those comparing it with Shaun Of The Dead & Hot Fuzz.

It's not the same sort of movie, so difficult to compare. I found it enjoyable and funny and the alien looked really really good.

From what I've seen in the trailers the alien looks at odds with his voice. How does it come across generally?

If you get me...

I was a little bit worried from the trailers because I generally don't like the idea of a 'wise cracking alien' but honestly the character really made sense. It makes a lot more sense in context.

It strikes me as one of those bland generic films we'll all have forgotten about by the end of the year.
