That's some poorly punctuated fighting talk!

Unimpressed Is it really? , explain why,' Oh perfect One', then you can punctuate me with your sword of grammar !, I might feel a little deflated afterwards.
[a pun intended].

About 1m 30s of Film 2011.

It was incredible, no, I mean like, incredible. It was, well, so well acted it was, well, frankly, incredible. And like, well . . .

Pretentious crap.

Michael Clayton. Despite a couple of genre cliches a nice throwback to the grown-up films of the seventies.

That quote you've put up doesn't exactly sound pretentious.

I prefer Film 2011 the way it is now, it's a more enjoyable watch.

Yeah, Film 2011 a few years back was just silly.

:( Does'nt anyone on here like arty cultured films , with sadness longing and tragedy?, or dare I say bathos?...

No. Because they are past the 90 minute cut off mark.

Quote: Griff @ February 17 2011, 11:56 AM GMT

Because blockbusters and action movies never go past this, right?

They're the worst offenders for bloat.

Das Boot (in its entirety) runs for about 5 hours...

I don't mind a good long film, like Goodfellas say. But there's no excuse for a Michael Bay film running over 90 minutes.

:D

I'm sure he's done a halfway watchable film sometime. Armegeddon? Was The Rock his? They were okay.

...Pearl Harbor...

*crosses self*

Elliot and I watched Dead Poets Society yesterday. I've seen it before, and he hasn't, but I'd forgotten how sad it was and ended up in tears!

That is a verrrrrrrrrrry sad film.
