I've just seen... Page 105

The Good Shepherd, about the birth of the CIA. Sluggish pace, but an absorbing story and a nice epic sweep. And nobody does emotional repression better than Matt Damon.

Zombieland. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jesse Eisenberg is like a Michael Cera that can do drama too.

That wasn't as good as I was expecting. I mean, it was a fun movie, but I expected more, for some reason. And like others have said, the best part is Bill Murray's brief appearance.

Hype. These films arrive from America weighed down with plaudits and rave reviews, so we're expecting the moon on a stick. That said, it's a snappy script and probably as good as Shaun of the Dead.

Hang on Zombieland is alright perfectly good throw away popcorn none sense. but its no Shaun of the Dead which is still the best zombie film in the last 10 years odd easily. But that said it's not really got much in the way of competition.

Yeah, I love Shaun, but for me it's not nihilistic enough to be a truly great zombie film. Then again, it is a rom-com too, so I don't hold its fluffiness against it.

I really enjoyed Zombieland. Look forward to watching it again some time. :)

28 Weeks later is a great zombie film prefer it to the original. Yes yes rage bollocks but they are zombies.

I think they're going to do a Zombieland sequel.

Agreed. That's a great zombie movie, much better than the first. Hope they get round to 28 Months Later at some point.

I preferred the original. I don't care about this Rage/zombie thing either. It's all the same.

It's been on and off the boil for a while, I kinda hope it does happen but not sure if it's got enough legs to sustain another one.

Problem I have with 'Days' is the beginning is brilliant. but once the leave the city it just goes all flippy floppy. Once the soldiers appear, as much as I love Chris Eccleson it just loses the plot completely. Plus originally there was a different ending which was deemed to bleak apparently.

No, because they aren't dead.

Altough Zombieland was enjoyable, I was underwhelmed. I wouldn't want to watch it again.

No, because they aren't dead.

They are basically a fresh twist on the Zombie though, dead or not.

Not (dead).

Not.

Okay.
