A sad, sad day

I hope they set up a help line like they did when Take That spilt.

I heard there were at least 12 suicides after MJ kicked the bucket.

Would you call me ignorant, if I say I have never heard of this duo.

Yes!

They did the theme tune for In Sickness & In Health, if you've seen any of it.

Yes. Especially considering your current avatar -

- you've probably got a 'Beer Belly'

I love the Beer Belly song.

A sad day for music indeed.
First Oasis, and now this.

I think I speak for everyone when I say Gertchyou cowson uuurtcha.

How much of a coincidence is this. I had planned to come home from work and set this thread up with exactly the same title, but seems I've been beaten to it.
I liked them me, entertaining stuff. Paticulary love Snooker Loopy. But they did some great TV theme tunes such as In Sickness and in Health and Big Break. And what about Down to Margate?
Did you know they supported Led Zeppelin at Knebworth in 1979.

I'm pretty sure that it was the other way around.
:)

Mine was Rabbit followed by Sideboard - class. Kinda how Elton John should've been: without the pretention and ghastly hair job.

There ain't no pleasing you is a very good song.

Does anyone remember when they used to use Chas n Dave songs in the Courage best adverts?
And who's songs they used for the adverts after Chas n Dave?

Laughing out loud

Chas was on the London news explaining that he would still carry on gigging without Dave.

The newsreader just turned round and said 'No one cares. I thought you both died years ago.' (That last bit might be a bit of a lie).

Babyshambles?

I think they were gigging separately anyway half the time.
So they may have already fell out a little bit.

You may mock but my dad will be devastated when he gets back from his hols.

He loved 'em and, unfortunately for anyone within a half mile radius, he still sings their songs occasionally.

Their music will live on here in the East End for sure.

:)

Babyshambles?

It was Adam & the Ants.
:S

Off the top of my head
They used

Gertcha
I don't care
Down to Margate

And then
Apollo 9 by Adam Ant

Slap me in the beer belly and call me an and ignorant and rabbit because I've listened to 3 of their most recognizable songs and haven't reckoned one.
Err...sad day indeed?
