Help trying to ID sitcom

First post! Hi all.

I am trying to recall the name of a sitcom. It ran in the early/mid 1990s, and was set in a secondary school. The main "star" of the show was a crazed headmaster and his inept and equally crazed wife, who I believe worked as a secretary.
My memory of it is very limited (as you can no doubt tell) In fact, the main thing I remember was that it was terribly unfunny. Possibly cringe worthy.
Not much to work on unfortunatly.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers.

That would be Chalk.

Apart frrom the thing about it being "unfunny" and "cringe worthy", and the early/mid 1990s, that does indeed sound like Chalk.

Yay! That's the one. Thanks :) Am I alone in thinking it was nothing short of terrible?

Not quite alone, but certainly misguided. ;)

It has been several years since I watched it. Perhaps my now more mature comedic tastes will assist in giving me a different, perhaps more favourable opinion of Chalk. I will have to scout around for some eps. :)

If you didn't like it then, you're probably less likely to enjoy it now. Buuuut it's possible I suppose. Heyho.

If you follow the first link, I think that there are some video clips available.
