Hendrix and Cobain: Rock Conspiracies

Possible-likely naive first post here; I've written a sketch to be narrated with video footage on-top, ala a news report... Though I'm not actually sure if it makes any sense :-X Ideally it's a (snotty) wee-take of music magazines and fanzines.

NARRATOR: "Murder and conspiracy has never strayed far from the rock n roll lifestyle, but how about sensationalist coverup? Officially Kurt Cobain, lead singer and guitarist for Seattle grunge band Nirvana, and Jimi Hendrix, leader of The Experience and guitar-god in his own right, were murdered- Cobain by his girlfriend, and Hendrix by his manager, both aged 27. However, hardline conspiracy theorists believe it was the musician's left-hands which killed the burgening musicians."

"The musicians early deaths weren't so much of a surprise- as the two were left-handed they were doomed to die with short life-spans naturally. The real mystery was the uproar from fans, particularly conspiracy theorists- who have from the very off been suspicious that the left hands conspired against the musicians."

"It was rumoured that Cobain's left hand shot the star in the brains, whilst conspiracy nuts on Hendrix's side believe his left-hand pilled the guitar God with alcohol before leaving him to puke in his sleep, subsequently leaving both musicians dead...at 27!"

A reasonable germ of an idea.

Not quite sure where this would fit in - perhaps as part of a larger piece on left-handers? [A similar thing has been done about ginger people].

BTW, how come we've still got McCartney? Bah!

I'm planning to slot this sketch inside a series I'm making for YouTube, but yeah- I can see that it's going to have to be a part of a bigger scheme overall. McCartney's a left-hander? Hmmm.

To be honest this wasn't a sketch I found funny, but not in a bad way because I still liked it and thought the idea was clever. As above I can see it as part of a series of left-hand related sketches. I think maybe the words need tweaking here and there to make it funnier. You know how certain words are innately funny like spam and incontinence. (I'm not suggesting you work those two in, they're simply examples). Good luck, this is just my opinion, I'm a newbie too and when you're rich&famous you can laugh at my suggestion to put more 'funny' words into your masterpiece.
