Ok so this is the sketch I was on about, the sketch that may be banned from YouTube as it's a bit near the mark.

"Nature's Hidden Pocket" Brilliant.
I really think you need to get rid of the audio reactions of the other guy. In my opinion it's distracting, it weakens the sketch and would be much better with just Dave talking to cam solo.
Also - and this is may seem a silly point - but Dave would be funnier if you hid his buffness. Obviously a lot of gym work has been going on there and that's great, but fit is never funny. Dave would be far more amusing if he looked a bit less "capable", so my advice would be to cover those biceps.
As ever though, this is top stuff.
It's a funny vid but I question whether it's even anywhere near bannishable.
Well Lee, sorry you think that, but the other Guy "Luke" the camera man is there to stay, we have loads of feedback from people who like the parts when it becomes like a double act, and if it's just Dave all the time he can become a bit much. It's a basic straight man funny man thing.
Also the buffness is part of his character, as he is obsessive and has spent a lot of time training. He had to have had something to attract Lisa, but he lost her cos he's mental! Also we gave him a mustache to make him look less attractive and a bit more slimy, and less like how the actor normally looks.
what do you mean Kevin? your saying you think it's fine and won't get banned? I hope your right, but you never know how sensitive people can be. The knife trick video got banned on one site.

Mat, Kevin is right, this video is VERY tame compared to a lot of YouTube stuff out there, so I think your fears of it being banned are unfounded.
Sorry if I've offended you about the offscreen Luke character - I don't know what others on this site feel but for me it weakens Dave's performance. Without Luke it would feel very organic and reality TV-like, ,mostly down to the excellent acting of the Dave Granger guy. With Luke it just feels wrong to me. I can't really qualify it much more than that - it just does. It makes the piece appear more amateurish than it deserves. This isn't just me talking - I've shown it to 2 other people and they said the same thing.
As to the buffness - well we'll have to disagree. For me, muscles just aren't funny.
well the amateurishness is totally on purpose, honest. We don't want the show going to slick, It's yet another thing that Dave gets wrong. Basically the whole point of Luke is he is the voice of reason, the voice of the audience, he can challenge Dave on things he does, and question his actions, all these things progress the story of what ever is happening. You've not really offended me, don't worry, I'm just explaining that the Luke stuff is a big part of what were doing. We have done early stuff with Just Dave and it really didn't have as much scope. Luke Opens it up a bit more, and gives Dave someone to talk to. Anyway I'm Glad everyone so far has said they don't think the grape is too much, but I still get very nervous when in meetings that sketch comes on, as it could be taken the wrong way.
Love the sketch Mat, I don't think it will be banned either. I quite liked the other guys reactions too. But I don't think the last bit is needed, where he runs down the hill. I thought he was gonna take the grape out and eat it, but he just repeated the warning from the beginning. Seemed like a waste of time to me.
Very good though Mat, love this character.
AH well the end bit is there as, we only recorded the don't try this at home lines right at the end, and before we had animated the beginning and end section, we used some footage of him saying the line at the end of some of the sketches, this is the 1st sketch to arrive online that had some footage at the end originally, so as I put the animation on the front, I was aware we had a choice of cutting the end in favor of the animation, or trying a combination of the two. I figured I'd try the latter as it Dave being weird again and as he line would be there anyway, it changes things every so slightly, and might raise another smile.
Nice sketch I understand where you are coming from re the whole 'double act' thing but I did find it rather distracting. I wonder as a compromise whether Luke could could just appear at the end of the sketch with a camera wobble and a chunder? Just a thought.
Reminds me of rugby tours gone by, as one of my mates party tricks is to cram 50 pound coins down his foreskin!

Oohh! I finally get to use http://yourandyoure.com !!!
It just occurred to me a funnier line might have been "I've been known to keep an apple, an orange and a banana in there at any one time. Word to the wise though, steer clear of pineapples."
But anyway, the character's very good. If I was you I'd make more of the ex-girlfriend situation in future sketches. It gives another dimension to Dave's character and suggests an interesting backstory.

I find myself disagreeing with almost everything Lee says about these sketches.
EDIT: That said, while Luke is working for me so far, there's been a couple of sketches where he veered a little to close to stating the obvious. He seems to work best when he's just emotionally reacting to Dave's antics, rather than pointing out that what he's doing is ridiculous.
Don't cover the biceps, I liked looking at them

That is you're God-given right Mr Murphy.
Good sketch, but you might need to light Dave's face better.
