Well David Attenborough is a smackable twat, and presumably these photos also featured a twat being 'smacked'.

It took me a moment to work out you were referring to a USB flash drive! I thought little wonder you were seeing dodgy stuff if you had a data key for some secret filth stash.
Quote: RubyMae - Glamourous Snowdrop at Large @ September 14 2009, 4:51 PM BSTThis new laptop has a program on it I've never had before called photoshop and I always assumed the datakey was empty because it's blank when I look at the thing on "my computer".
Photoshop is fun, though I could use a few lessons. Does your new computer have a program for reading/importing images from USB peripherals, such as digital cameras and flash drives, as soon as they're plugged in? I have a Fuji image reader/viewer program for getting photos from my digital camera - and until I fiddled with the settings, it would automatically find and import every image on any flash drive that I plugged in.
Don't throw away the flash drive.
My computer's being daft at the moment. I unplugged and moved it, and now it's not talking to the USB printer. I can't find any Epson software on there to uninstall, and from looking at Google, other people have had the same problem as me, with Vista.
Nogget, go into ... well, I'm not sure what it's called on Vista, but something like Devices & Printers. Go into the properties of your Epson and uninstall the driver. Then plug the thing back into your computer, turn it on, and hopefully it'll reinstall.
What's probably happened is you've not connected the printer to the same USB port, and it's got confused about where to find the device. Can happen with dodgy manufacturer-supplied drivers.

Thanks for the advice, Aaron. I don't get any option to 'uninstall' from the 'properties' tab. It does show the driver, under 'advanced', but I can't get rid of it from there.
Hm.
Well, I don't know how Windows 7 has changed from Vista, but this is what I'd have to do.
In 'Devices & Printers':
Right-click the Epson printer icon and go into Properties.
Go to Hardware tab in the Properties pop up.
Click the Properties button.
Go to the Driver tab in the new pop up.
Click the Uninstall button.
Thanks again, but that series of commands isn't quite how this OS works; I can right-click the Epson tab, and go into properties, but there doesn't appear to be a driver tab there.
To uninstall a device with Device Manager:
1.Launch Device Manager.
2.In Device Manager's left panel, open the node that represents the type of device that you want to uninstall and then right-click the device entry.
3.On the shortcut menu, click Uninstall.
4.On the Confirm Device Removal dialogue box, click OK to start the uninstall process.
5.When the uninstall process is complete, unplug the device. With some devices, you must restart the system to complete the uninstall process. The device might continue to function until the system has been restarted.

Try plugging the printer into a different USB port, that sometimes triggers the re-install of the second phase of the driver.
