Me too, they supplied me with a username and password. Almost feel like I've been used being automatically signed up

To be fair, Leevil, they've probably just heard how lazy you are.
I got an email too. I don't know if I'll upload a script, but I will read some of the others already up. Maybe they'll give me a few ideas
Out of interest I signed up for this and just got my three appraisals. One 5 star, one 4 and one 3. The appraisal form is pretty intensive, and whoever marked and commented on my script obviously had a far better knowledge of how comedy scripts work than your average bloke in the street. However, like anything, it really pointed up how subjective comedy is. The 5 star reviewer loved the points the 3 star reviewer hated about the script. So what that tells Screenplay, I'm not really sure.
Still, it's interesting to read detailed breakdowns of your script like that. I have to reciprocate now and critique somebody else's.

Hmmm...I just logged in to choose a script to critique from their list...there were only 4 available in the sitcom category. There were two available in Drama, and none at all in Radio. Seems like a poor show. Or perhaps there were tons to begin with and they've all now been critted.
What did you submit of yours Lee?

It was a script I wrote a couple of years ago that went into development but then stalled. I still believe in the script so I was interested to see what others thought.
I've got some stuff with Screenplay, but I'm not signed up for the First Look scheme.
Quote: Marc P @ September 25 2009, 11:19 AM BSTI have had problems in the past, more than once, with things are that done on a wink and a nod and outside of normal industry practice.
Sorry to be picky, Mark P but you misspelt 'wank'.

It wasn't me I have been too busy today doing an article on Mulled wine to help Jan with his slush pile.

I hear you brother!
Wading through one of these now ... it's really not very good ... unless it is a very very clever parody of a bad show.
The Slagg Bros is listed amonkst 1st Look's writers. What do they got to say about it. Theirs would be an interesting point of view, probably.
