Cures my headaches!

That's because your headaches are caused by the withdraw of the caffiene!

Tis true.

I shouldn't drink so much Diet Coke, but what else is yummy that I can replace it with?
Nothingggggggggggggggggggggggg.

I sometimes drink water, juice, or milk, but nothing is as nice as Coke, and that's a fact.

Normal Coke!

Actually my headaches are epilepsy-related. So ner. :P

Haha. But I switched to Diet 'cos of the calories and shiz.

But now you say Diet is bad for you in other ways.

I can't winn.

Well I don't want to drink too much of either then.
Although I won't stop altogether.

But what other drink goes so well with pizza/most other yummy food? Nuffink.

It's the aspartame that's the trouble. I think they've banned it in the US, but we haven't.

Excuse!

And a valid one! :)

If I'd got headaches after not having any Coke for some days on end, then I'd have come to that conclusion. But going without causes me no trouble, so that theory is a nonsense in my case.

Yep, it's a f**king nightmare that stuff. Most drinks, even non-diet stuff like Tango, have it in. I think they recently started putting it in good old R. White's Lemonade too. Angry

Since giving up booze I've been drinking far more fizzy drinks, but generally I can only drink so much before they make me feel sick. Wish someone would come up with a range of less sweet soft drinks. Can you get "savoury" drinks? (Not strawgrass and turnip smoothies, none of that wank, but something like a - oh, I don't know!) :(

Iced tea? I personally don't like it but it's a less acidic alternative.

Mmmnn, interesting. I love my teas and coffees, but when you're going out there's so few alternatives to booze. I think it's as much the habit of having a drink as what's in it, to be fair. Iced tea is something I like, so thanks for the tip. :)

I find Appletiser tends to be a bit kinder to the body but can be pricey in some places.

Yum, I like Appletiser. :) As I said, I just have to slowly get out of the habit of consuming up to 3 pints of fluid an hour when I go out. I can test my new found powers of restraint at the meet up next week. :)

Ah yes, I tried Appletiser for a while, it is quite nice.
