David Mitchell or Robert Webb = Mitchell for education, Webb for fun (we'd do our own 'bad things')
Ricky Gervais or Stephen Merchant = Not really a big Gervais fan and haven't seen/heard enough from Merchant to make an informed judgement. So the jury is still out...
Eric Morecambe or Ernie Wise = I think Morecambe but it does a disservice to the much overlooked role of the 'straight man' that Ernie played.
Dawn French or Jennifer Saunders = Neither, although Dawn French falling down the stairs would be pretty funny. French by default.
Matt Lucas or David Walliams = I think Walliams has funny bones, whereas Lucas seems a bit of a try hard to me. Walliams it is.
Vic Reeves or Bob Mortimer = Initially I was going to put Reeves but Mortimer being Ray Mears, in one of the series a while ago, was one of the funniest things I've seen. A draw!
Ronnie Barker or Ronnie Corbett = Bbb...bb..ba..Barker, Granville!
Stan Laurel or Oliver Hardy = They were both brilliant. Another draw (I'm sorry to be such a fence sitter it's just I'm sat on a really nice point. Ooo matron)
Peter Cook or Dudley Moore = No contest, Peter Cook. Moore always annoyed me on the Derek & Clive tracks, butting in and not making me laugh, grrr!
Enfield or Whitehouse = Definitely Mary Whitehouse.
